Shurie's experience at the university
Doing an apprenticeship I already had a taste of what working in industry felt like and because of that I knew a placement was something I wanted to go for. We are lucky that we have such an enthusiastic and supportive placement team.

My placement journey as a MAE student
One of the reasons I chose to study at Huddersfield was the fact the University has a successful Formula Student team – Team HARE. I discovered the team had placed as 3rd UK team in the Formula Student competition in 2019, and many alumni had gone on to work in Formula 1.
