Postgraduate taught courses
A postgraduate qualification is a great way to improve your professional prospects, change your career path or master your passion. In fact, 97.8% of our postgraduate students go on to work and/or further study within fifteen months of graduating. (HESA 2020/21)
At Huddersfield, we offer the following postgraduate taught degrees:
- Continuing Professional Development (CPD) – studied as single postgraduate modules, a CPD qualification can provide you with provide specialist knowledge in specific subject areas. They can also be ‘cashed-in’ towards postgraduate certificates, postgraduate diplomas and Master’s degrees.
- Postgraduate certificates and diplomas – these qualifications are internationally recognised and can help you to develop specific skills. They are usually shorter in duration than Master’s courses and can be built on if you wish to gain higher level qualifications with the University in the future.
- Master’s degrees – studying at Master’s level will involve completing advanced specialist study in a particular subject or profession and usually contain a taught element and supervised dissertation or research project.
