Although you'll find lots of information about the University of Huddersfield on our website, there is nothing quite like a visit to the campus to get a feel for what studying with us is really like. It's a great chance to look at the facilities, talk to staff and current students from the course you are interested in and find out about those key things that matter to you.

What happens at an Online Open Day?
Subject talks online
Learn about the subject you plan to study.
Our academics are holding live talks about the subject areas at Huddersfield. This is your opportunity to learn more about the subject you’re interested in. Plus, you’ll be able to ask questions at the end of the talk.

Virtual campus tour
You might not have had chance to visit campus but that doesn’t mean you can’t see it. Let our student reps take you around campus on a recorded tour of the key locations. Plus, if you’d like to explore for yourself then our interactive map is full of 360 views, information and videos.

Accommodation talks
Where you’ll live is an important part of the student experience and Huddersfield has great accommodation for students. DIGS student accommodation will be giving a talk to tell you more about their services. DIGS are the University’s preferred, recommended and approved accommodation provider

A talk for parents and carers
Chat with our Schools and Colleges Liaison staff who can give you advice on how to help your child with their university journey. There’s also a presentation with tips about how to choose a university and course, the UCAS application process and what you can do to help someone who is applying to university.

Wellbeing and Disability Service
Watch a presentation and then get the opportunity to chat live with a Disability Adviser. Find out more about the support and adjustments available at the University if you have on-going mental health issues, a specific learning difficulty, a physical or sensory impairment, a long-term medical condition or an autistic spectrum condition.
If you have access requirements or need any adjustments to attend the Open Day please contact us on eventaccess@hud.ac.uk
