The AGM attracted a full turn-out. Reports were given on the Branch and its finances and elections held. Members also enjoyed an American-style lunch which was provided by catering students as part of their coursework. In the reports, most areas in the University were said to be adequately covered but a few could have benefited from more representation or at least a Workplace Contact to distribute information. A new policy from Human Resources had been discussed and agreed by UNISON in June 2011 and is now on the local website. Please read through it if you use any social media to ensure you are not inadvertently breaching any University security or computing regulations. You can download it from the Human Resources website.
