CREATIVITY AND INNOVATION
IN TEACHING IN HIGHER EDUCATION
The purpose of this project is to promote, support and cultivate creative and innovative pedagogy across the whole University and its partners. The project team are based in the School of Education and Professional Development (SEPD) and are contributing to the wider cross-university initiative. This is being achieved in a number of ways, including:
- CPD events and workshops on Creative Teaching Techniques
- Creativity Cafes for networking across the University
- A DVD on Creative Teaching Techniques in Higher Education released in July 2008
- A book titled ‘A Toolkit for Creative Teaching in Post-Compulsory Education’ published by the Open University in March 2009
- Papers presented at national and international conferences
- A National Conference Café on 6th November 2008
