One of the requests from delegates at the Creativity Cafes was the opportunity to observe other staff using creative teaching in the classroom. Time and teaching commitments were potential barriers, so a DVD was compiled to record ‘cameos’ of creative teaching used staff from across the University. This also fulfilled another aim of the TQEF project which was to produce a set of ‘master class videos’.
In March 2008, staff who were able to participate in the DVD were contacted. The staff selected provided a range of creative teaching techniques used across the university, around four broad areas of creativity : Creative Teaching Techniques; Creative Thinking; Creativity in IT; and Creativity and Community and Employer Engagement.
