Mike Page

Prof Mike Page has been at the University of Huddersfield since 1973. He has over 30 years experience in physical organic chemistry and enzyme catalysis, and has supervised over 40 PhD students and published over 180 research papers.

Mike has edited books on The Chemistry of Enzyme Action, Enzyme Mechanisms, The Chemistry of B-Lactam Antibiotics and recently he co authored a book with Andrew Williams entitled Organic and Bio-organic Mechanisms.

Mike current research interests include kinetics and mechanisms in organic and bioorganic chemistry, enantioselective synthesis including enantioselective biotransformations and drug design, specifically enzyme inhibitors.
